This one took longer than usual, and I tried some new painting methods, there are still some flaws but overall I'm quite happy with the results

Honestly, the first movie is more similar to the story of Hiccup Horrendous Haddoc the first and Wondensfangs story, rather than Hiccup the third and toothless'. Or maybe it's the sleep.deprivation in me.

Guys. I was just minding my own business when I suddenly remembered that Fishlegs and Hiccup III are canonically 3rd cousins in the books and Fishlegs is half berserker. This isn't important, I was just thinking about the books for some nostalgic reason.

Also. The meaning behind Hiccups name and the story of Hiccup I and the story of Fishlegs mother/Fishlegs' backstory and the fact that Fishlegs' full name in the books is literally Fishlegs No Name! And also, how much I love Book Stoic and how much I hate Alvin the treacherous and basically the entire series but especially books 8-12 I just— aaaaggghhhh.

Hiccup 1 :]

And now we're done with the Hiccup designs! I noticed a certain theme that I had going around with the other ones I did, with Hiccup 2 being yellow and purple (pink purple but still purple) and Hiccup 3 being green and red, so for Hiccup 1 I went with blue and orange! (well. way more to the browns but still orange hues)

I did base him a little bit on movie Hiccup, but probably not that much by the end. Just the hair color, vague hair shape and the fur coat cape thing
